To set up gmail video chat, go to: www.google.com/chat/video and install the software. Restart your browser, and you're done! You can now enjoy Google video chat but dDon't forget that for being able to video chat with a friend, their e-mail account must be a gmail account, too.
When you enter your gmail account, you will now notice that some of your friends have a camera icon next to their name, which means they have enabled their webcams and are available for video chatting. If you don't see that camera icon, then you must ask them to install the free video chat software from Google.
